The hotel had a marvellous and amazing location easy to get to old town. I was satisfied with the neat room, there were shower facilities, a hair dryer, and bath sheets just in case.

Everything is excellent here, had a comfortable stay for two nights. The rooms are well heated and accommodating, with free tea and coffee. The breakfast is free with coffee, lots to choose from.

It was in a central location, easy to get to old town. All the staff was helpful, settled my issues. I got well heated room with breakfast.

The place was clean, I booked the double room with garden views, everything was excellent. The hotel was set in a very central area close to a very nice area close to the playhouse and nice restaurants and the main railway station, & other transport facilities.

The staff were affable, the breakfast was FREE and everything was fine. The quadruple room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was accommodating. It had a walk-in shower in the modern style bathroom.

My stay was really comfortable for two nights. The staff were amicable and really polite and the location was excellent in the heart of Edinburgh. Further, it was very close to the center, the theatre, and the centre of Edinburgh.

Attentive staff and well heated rooms with large double bed, modern bathroom, for example. Perfectly fine facilities. Decent location, a 10-15 minute walking distance from an official residence. Found in the very nice area really close to waverly railway station, downtown and airport tram and restaurants and Waverly station...

We had a very comfortable stay at this small hotel. Got quadruple room when arrived, loved that. The location was reasonable - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Besides, the area was very nice, next to a restored theatre.

The location was brilliant, not too far from The Hub. Everyone working at this brilliant hotel was attentive. The rooms were fabulous with tv.

Had great stay for two nights. The location of the hotel was brilliant and decent - not very far from George Iv. It was also so close to restaurants, a very nice area, and the Edinburgh Playhouse. I had king room that also was complete with hangars for clothes, bath, for instance. All the stuff members where attentive and efficient;)))

the hotel was short way from new town and really close to calton hill. located 900 feet from the property, thirsty pallet was a good choice to eat. we enjoyed playfair house so we will choose the place for future trips.

Convenient base for trip in Edinburgh. Good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like The Gardener's Cottage that was only 5 minutes' walk away. There was public parking
