1st class hotel, remarkable views and location is fantastic just off which was also the bus stop for the hop on tours and lovely local pubs and shops. Well-trained staff here with a very cheeky argumentative Scottish Female receptionist. The food is outstanding, greatly enjoyed continental breakfast.

I had a very nice stay in a long time. Luxury hotel, all of the staff were excellent and affable, amazing location to Waverly train station. The room was high-class and nice cosy, reasonably priced and with castle view, lovely big bed, for example. Really great service was provided.

The breakfast was reasonably priced with great views to the castle and all the ambiance, as example and served by the extremely polite staff. The venue was in a very central location near the Museum of Scotland and Royal Mile, the centre of Grassmarket across from pubs and restaurants and the pubs in the Grassmarket.

The room was cheap and huge, we had a kettle, a couch, and an iron.

That was spectacular hotel set in leisure area, right by Grassmarket at the base of the hill on which Edinburgh Castle sits, Near centre and the castle or anything. The breakfast was freshly cooked and well priced and reasonably priced with a stunning view on Edinburgh caste and toast, for example.

Generally clean and really modern room with a kettle, a sofa set, and an iron for a really great stay at a return visit.

It was a very very good stay for a business trip, enjoyed it.

The hotel is wonderful relaxing, has remarkable views and unbeatable location close enough to sightseeing or shopping, bars & restaurants and concert at Usher Hall. It's well presented and well-kept with huge bathrooms.

It is undoubtedly a modern option when you are in Edinburgh. The stuff are extremely friendly and amazingly polite, they keep the place fairly clean. At the Irish bar they serve EXCEPTIONAL food and drinks.

The hotel was terrific, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the castle view. I ate at a simple restaurant for evening meals. The location was stunning and the staff was very very nice and welcoming during the whole stay! Found a historic fortress, it's at a short distance from the property. The daily service was excellent. The sauna was available.

I had the city twin room and it was airy. The location was magnificent for traveling around Edinburgh, not far from Edinburgh Castle as well as major attractions. Also, Co-op Food was 1 km away.

The family feel of the place and very central location. Very easy to get from Edinburgh airport, just 15 km. Airy room and top-notch, extremely comfy bed. Fresh food as for continental breakfast:)))

The hotel was conveniently located very close to a standing tower. The room was beautifully designed, with a view of the castle, travel cot plus Elemis toiletries, slept really well. The staff was accommodating and consistently courteous, offered us wake up service and local calls free of charge.

I was there for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant with the view of the Castle. Impeccable service, though a few employees were not particularly welcoming. The location was incredible, within easy walking distance of a combined museum.

We were offered city double room with central heating, a work desk and an electronic key card which were very good. 10 mins walk to the center. Moreover, we parked our car on-site.

Spend our time here greatly. An electric kettle, coffee/tea making equipment and a refrigerator were a huge plus. Not to mention free Wi Fi.

being within easy reach of princes street and very close to scottish national gallery. petit paris is literally 200 ft away. bruntsfield neighborhood was worth exploring. located in 30 minutes' drive to the airport.
