Overall it was fully-equipped, with a functional bathroom. Had perfect and incredible location in a well-run personalized establishment.

Everything was first-class, marvellous location right in the centre of Edinburgh, the staff were efficient. There were comfortable chais, an air conditioner, and a couch in my classic king room, loved it.

The rooms unique and trendy with tasteful decor, the bedroom, as example. Exceptional service provided with smiles. The check out is late.

Plentiful continental breakfasts with the food in the past, fast wi-fi. Marvellous setting, not far from Edinburgh for the weekend, and Scotland. Again, walking distance to a national gallery.

Everything was really good, breakfast was sumptuous. The room was very well decorated and fully-equipped and it had air conditioning, a sofa, and a DVD player. The location of the hotel was perfect, up to the castle before breakfast.

The personnel were smart and made me feel welcome. My room was individually decorated and romantic with nice touches, super walk-in and roll top bath, truly enjoyed it.

So many superb options for breakfast, such as cereal, pastries, and fruit.

Its location was marvellous and beautiful, in Edinburgh's Old Town, and in a central area. We booked a deluxe double room with a super bed.

We ate at a very pleasant restaurant with delicious food. We had a spectacular view of the old town and a very big bed.

The room is trendy and unique with the free standing bath in the middle. The location is marvellous and fab, lots of cafés and bars nearby.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed individually decorated and romantic room with a beautiful bath and a sideboard with a minibar. Thanks to the smart and efficient staff everything was amazing. The service was first-rate and the food was superb.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and provided us with fantastic breakfast with vegetarian sausages which is unusual. The location in the bistro which was good was marvellous.

Came here for 3 nights with my family members, everything was really good. My accommodation was set in a central location close enough to museums, bars, fringe events and station as well as inexpensive student-oriented shops and places to eat.

Breakfast was superb, great views, marvellous location so close to the Royal Mile and the Castle as well as the Bistro in the evening. Comfy bed, large and individually decorated room with a well-stocked mini bar, coffee, and a safe box. With early check-in and late check-out, this hotel was ideal. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

In overall the room was fully-equipped and with less character than the deluxe double.

Picturesque trendy boutique place, it has marvellous and lovely location really close to bus stops and restaurants, Edinburgh city centre, and the main shops and sights. Recommend the place.

The location was marvellous and beautiful, in the University district with easy access to interesting independent shops and a local supermarket.

The staff is smart, the breakfast superb, the location is marvellous next to disposable' everything', and a platform at the window. The room is reasonably large and individually decorated and essentials you need, including a well-stocked mini bar, coffee, and a safe box, is right there. We recommend the place.

I was here for 1 night and ate at a la carte restaurant for lunch. The staff were amazing friendly people with the manager who was very understanding, and the location was marvellous.

The hotel was set in a very central area right by the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, tourist places such as Greyfriar's Cemetery, Edinburgh Castle as well as the High Street of Old Town and royal mile, and train station.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were a little slow.

Marvellous and lovely location perfect to get to all the main attractions in a nice quiet area. Competent and decent members of the staff especially the male receptionist. A decent size and pleasantly decorated room and luxury bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate shower.

The location was excellent and incredible, very close to the main stream and better situated hotels as well as the `` Old Town ''. I had a decent size and pleasantly decorated room here with sofa and a huge bed plus toiletries.

I had a really amazing experience here, everything was amazing, the location was fab near to great restaurants & pubs, the train station, and Princes Street, the Edinburgh Castle and general all shopping and restaurant areas. The personnel was excellent quality as expected. There were comfy beds and a well-stocked mini bar, coffee, and a safe box inside the room. The breakfast food, especially cereal, pastries, and fruit was fantastic.

The place was original and upscale and the staff were efficient, the location was incredible in the bistro delicious. I had fashionable and compact room with hypoallergenic pillows and feather pillows. There were coffee, comfortable chais and climate control. The service was flawless with an early check-in. I spent 1 night here and loved that.

The accommodation had a very central location with several areas of interest within walking distance. This was my nice stay at the weekend.

We would recomand this property without hesitation and will be back.

The continental breakfast was plentiful with my favourite Eggs Benedict and served in the patio. The staff were smart and efficient and knew the area.

All the staff we met were competent and decent. Classic queen room was functional and romantic had hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows.

Stylish venue, fab bar area, incredible location in the Playhouse. Decent sized and pleasantly decorated units with very comfortable beds and efficient staff.

Spotless and special place and the breakfast was delicious and tasty. Its location in Edinburgh was good and absolutely perfect, close to Edinburgh airport as well as Greyfriars cemetery and Greyfriars Bobby Bar, aswell as The Frankenstein Pub. I ate at the à la carte restaurant near the hotel.

The rooms are decent size and pleasantly decorated with good decor, the bedroom plus mini bar.

Had fairly nice stay for a birthday weekend, the staff were smart, location was marvellous in the town centre.

The setting was stunning, close to the Royal Mile, the restaurant in the evening, and transport to the train station. The staff was really good and incredible, we had an early check-in. The deluxe queen room we stayed in was unique and trendy.

Location: the hotel was close to the main areas, Edinburgh and the Bistro in the evening. Found time to see Co-op Food, that's not too far from the property.

Had such wonderful stay on a business trip. The staff were all smart and efficient, and the room was fashionable with a bath in the window recess. The location was marvellous, not far from The Royal Mile and Grassmarket areas as well as great for walking around Edinburgh, in a nice quiet area.

Thank you for a splendid stay. Charming small and reasonably clean place should have higher than 4 star rating, everything is very good. It has a very efficient service and their breakfast is sumptuous and extensive with salad, fare available plus several different. The employees are very responsive.

The location was unbeatable and handy, next to the National Museum of Scotland, and the view was pleasant, too. And we were so close to the castle, and Edinburgh.
