Everything was good, magnificent location easy to commute anywhere in the city centre, the staff were outstandingly accommodating. The breakfast was sensational, with lots of goodies.

The staff were all super-friendly and amicable, which was unquestionably a plus. Location: the hotel was short walk to Royal Mile / Princes Street, museums, castle, shopping, restaurants and public transport or a 25 minute walk. Popped in The Old Bell Inn for shots before sleep, it was around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue👌

Delicious and perfect breakfast with continental options, black pudding, very good toast, it had so much choice.

The location was marvellous, in a neighborhood with plenty of dining options within walking distance, in the lovely area. The service was brilliant, nothing too much trouble.

The venue was set in the very central position just off Edinburgh, old Centre and Castle and Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat. The staff were hospitable and a satisfactory breakfast was provided.

that was what i call good base for rest. the staff members were all best and flexible. silent and neat rooms, the views were fantastic. the service was exceptional in my opinion. had opportunity to use wake up calls at no cost.

The idea to include coffee/tea making machines, a fridge and glassware in the double room was nice. And it had a lovely view of inner courtyard. We had an excellent service, delicious breakfast. We could use wake up service and ironing at no cost too.

Pleasant and very spacious room. View of sunsets was MAGNIFICENT. Hotel's position was next to tourist spots like holyrood park. We would come back for sure.

We liked everything at gifford house including breakfast and rooms. We have stayed at this bnb before and do recommend it to friends...
