Radisson Collection Hotel, Royal Mile Edinburgh

Contemporary and brand-new units with a great view, a lovely large bathroom plus well sized bath.

The collection room is brand-new and stocked. The point is the castle view was an unexpected bonus. It has perfect central location in the Hotels' Cucina' Restaurant.

Stylish hotel located close enough to the cafe round the corner which had the biggest and freshest scones, all old town attractions and the Hotels 'Cucina' Restaurant. Fashionable & compact rooms with nice touches, all mod cons funky bathroom, as for instance. Great pool, marvellous and fantastic location cLOSE TO ALL SHOPS.

The location was perfect and our room was brand-new. We thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to a main shopping street and shopping streets in Edinburgh.

I have stayed in the collection room with a coffeemaker and a kettle. The price is just right - £ 147.

Superior collection queen room was contemporary with balloons and cake, reasonable price. Had marvellous and amazing location on an overnight trip to visit the equally fabulous Christmas markets.

The weather was lovely, had very enjoyable stay in September 2012. The food was exceptional, I thoroughly enjoyed cereals, pastries, cheese, and fruit. The staff turned out to be dedicated. The pool area was great and the location was marvellous, close enough to the crossroads between the New Town, the Royal Mile or the cafe round the corner which had the biggest and freshest scones and the golden mile, tourist attractions and eating place.

As for me, the area was poor.

Well decorated and well-kept units with a worth every penny view over the castle. Luxury guest bathroom. Central location not far from Edinburgh Castle and the street performers of the Royal Mile, restaurants and bars, and pubs & restaurants, sophisticated atmosphere.

The food for breakfast was exceptional, we got cereals, pastries, cheese, and fruit.

Views appeared to be not very nice.

It offered an extensive continental breakfast with fresh smoked salmon.

Stocked and brand-new units in the older floors. Early check-in, absolutely perfect location close to train station and airport tram as well as the lovely Old Town on the Royal Mile.

Perfectly comfortable and top location easy to walk to from Waverly station and view of the castle. More than adequate breakfast, newly decorated superior collection room.

The hotel was high-class and exceptionally clean, overlooked the castle. The location was fantastic and magnificent, so close to the museum in Chamber street, Right near the Edinburgh Castle and most attractions. We had lunch in Viva Mexico, placed close by.

The staff was quite uninterested.

It was in a great location, reasonable price.

The beds were comfy and each decent size room had a coffeemaker and a kettle. The position of the hotel was great and fab, down the hill from the castle. Moreover, it was at a short distance from Sherlock Holmes Statue.

Everything was clean and second to none. The room was functional and newly remodelled, it had climate control, a coffeemaker, and a kettle. The hotel was so close to all that is in between as well as a festival thanks to its great and brilliant location.

Well, the views were not so nice here.

Sophisticated and unique hotel with worth every penny views over the castle. Perfect location near to cafes and restaurants, the castle, railway and bus station and Edinburgh Castle, Arthur's Seat, the New Town, and extensive breakfast.

Climate control, a free minibar, and a safe box available in the collection room. Large bedroom, thoroughly enjoyable stay, late check-out. Incredible, perfect location in the New Town.

The location is marvellous and stunning and they have parking on-site.

The hotel was truly exceptional and spotlessly clean with well organised and very efficient staff members. I had brand-new and stocked room complete with mini bar, shower and nespresso machine. The service provided there was very efficient.

Thanks all for a fine stay for 3 nights. The room was generous-sized and had a worth every penny view of the castle. The bed was comfy and a Nespresso machine and a kettle were a bonus. Amazing very central location very close to the cafe round the corner which had the biggest, the Hotels' Cucina' Restaurant and the castle, Camera Obscura, The Whisky Experience, Hard Rock cafe, St Giles Cathedral and many other shops, restaurants and pubs. We found nice Deacon's House Cafe nearby with hot beverages.

It has great and fab location to see a long-standing tower.

The rooms were recently refurbished and generous-sized and the continental breakfast was nice hot. It had a comfy bed, a coffee machine, a heating system, and a kettle. The location on foot or by public transport anyway was great.

It was in a very central location, close to all the attractions. We could drink something at Makars Gourmet Mash Bar, located 1 km away.

Romantic and fairly clean place, wonderfully friendly and excellent staff at the reception desk. Location - marvellous and good, next to Royal Mile and St Giles Cathedral, Arthurs Seat, East Lothian Coast, Royal Mile & Firth of Forth and the Royal Mile. Situated only 1 km from The Real Mary King's Close. Hot and extensive breakfast option with fresh smoked salmon, cakes and that' view.

The staff was so efficient plus the location was nice and really ideal. The breakfast was more than adequate with fresh smoked salmon: you could find cereal, pastries, cheese and fruit.

Great location for city sightseeing, easy to get around. The pool area is great too.

This was a marvellous location so close to centre of Edinburgh old town, bars and restaurants and the Royal Mile within 2 minutes walk to the castle. Cereal, pastries, cheese and fruit provided for breakfast was fantastic! The personnel was amazingly efficient and active. I stayed here for 3 days and would love to return.

The location was unbeatable and brilliant, close to Victoria Street.

Had a fun stay for a perfect first time visit and reasonable price, the hotel serves the purpose well. Loved the superior collection king room I had with a coffee machine and bustle of Edinburgh plus a complimentary minibar fridge.

A kind of TERRIFIC service.

There is an electric kettle and glassware. The location is exceptional and awesome, it's adjacent to a more cozy cafe, the castle and the Royal Mile, and Royal Mile. Also, we both loved The Shack, located within walking distance of the hotel.

Immaculately clean, first-rate hotel built in an elegant style. Great pool to relax in too. Incredible location in a safe area short walk to the Royal Mile as well as restaurants/bars. Easy walk to a surviving 17th - century high - tenement house.

Loved Edinburgh, the hotel was nicely decorated in the old town. There were a work desk, coffee/tea making machines and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in my superior collection queen room. Private bathrooms, that included a walk-in shower.

The location was marvellous for walking around a combined museum. The collection room was recently refurbished with great view. No complaints, I loved the stay and would stay here again.

First-class service was provided here.

Everything was good, pleasant staff, lovely views of Edinburgh skyline and Arthur's Seat. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast here, I had excellent dishes. It was exquisite and the bed was very comfy.

I loved the breakfast served at the bar. I booked fashionable collection twin room here with balloons, excellent views, a skyline view. The staff were pleasant and efficient, everything was good. The venue's position was very central.

All in all a very lovely stay, the venue met what was needed. In addition, the parking was on site. The location was brilliant, close to The Studio.

The service was very good, totally satisfied. A superior collection queen room was reasonably priced and I liked it. The breakfast was extensive and generous and the parking was on-site. The staff was service-minded, Im grateful for their help. The location was marvellous and best possible for walking around a historic fortress.

A work desk, coffee/tea making machines and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels inside the superior collection queen room were handy. This accommodation had a central setting in heels.

Didn't like the area, it was poor.

Place was exceptionally clean, everything was perfect. The rooms were luxurious and stunning with a good view, very comfortable bed, as for instance, just what we needed. The location was best possible - ease of access to The Hub. They offered us brilliant meals, had lots of options to choose from...

the breakfast in the bar was satisfactory to start your day. the unit we got was spotless with excellent views, balloons, for example.

great location, attentive staff, beds were comfortable. bathroom was good size and we loved it. the breakfast was included and had plenty of meals.

Hotel was next to such places as scottish national gallery. Honestly nothing bothered me.

The rooms include complimentary WiFi and Wi-Fi which was a bonus point. The breakfast is delicious.
