Location: good, not far from bus stop and train station, Portobello beach and the aaran. Also, close to city centre of Edinburgh.

The location was great and lovely and the staff were courteous. Got an outstanding breakfast included.

Good food, perfect location in the centre of town.

The room I booked was modern and airy, complete with a warm shower, a four poster bed plus cookies.

The breakfast was marvellous and sensational with fresh fruit and juice and had something for everyone.

The venue was reasonably clean and the staff were attentive and amiable. The location was perfect, just next door to the seafront promenade, and Restaurant with good meals. Plus, we stayed relatively near Fort Kinnaird Retail Park.

Thanks all for a very very good stay for a 2nd visit. It was adjacent to the beaches of Portobello and Musselburgh, centre of Edinburgh by train and bus and good restaurants and sightseeing, perfect and exceptionally nice location overall.

The rooms were well decorated and the location was lovely. Everything was perfect and within 25 minutes' drive of Edinburgh airport. The breakfast offered was marvellous with toast, juice, pastries.

Overall it was beautifully decorated, with a private bathroom.

Had a such wonderful time. The hotel was beautifully decorated and ideal, as you can expect from Edinburgh. The breakfast food including coffee, toast, pastries, and fresh fruit was fab! Because of a problem with double room we were upgraded and had a stylish room.

Marvellous location with good restaurant nearby. Nearby The Cuddie Brae - great place to chill out.

The hotel has great location really close to the beach and portobello high street, which is uphill on the way back, and sightseeing around Edinburgh. The breakfasts were marvellous and delightful with extra butter, the extra toast, pastries, couldn't ask for anything better.

Everything is great here, had a pleasant stay for four nights. Everyone who works in the hotel is very pleasant and helpful. We greatly enjoyed it so will be back.

Amazing breakfast with lots of choice.

Liked perfect and exceptionally nice location, close enough to the train station which costs £3.20 for a return to the city, the center of Edinburgh and the seaside and train station. Our breakfast was amazing with pastries and the cheap sausages, as example.

The stay was very very good, would recomand. I liked staying in this beautifully designed hotel based in a Georgian building. The room was bright and romantic, with comfy beds. It was nice to have coffee/tea makers and glassware available.

Location: the hotel was close enough to the centre. The room we had included a kettle, central heating and a work desk.

You will find a work desk, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a coffee maker.

The rooms are spotless with a double bed as well as cookies and the staff are welcoming. The location is peaceful, the check in is early.

Overall it was a real good stay for four nights. The location was brilliant, relatively close to a contemporary art gallery.

the location of the hotel was marvellous - at a walking distance from st martins. the airport was 30 km away.

The location is marvellous and handy, 15 minutes' walk to St Martins. The hotel provides a good service.

Spent our time here joyfully. When we arrived the host was HELPFUL. Positioned in the quiet area. Easy access to Edinburgh airport, within 30 km.

Hotel was near to a bus stop - you can go everywhere. We could easily park nearby. We would come here again, if we come to Edinburgh;)))
