Gorgeous low-budget hotel with varied breakfasts. Particularly good and stunning location for Edinburgh, near a large, very good grocery store, and Edinburgh with a friend for a weekend getaway.

Breakfast of a poor quality.

The place was fairly clean, I booked the twin room with city views, everything was very good. The location was unbeatable and stunning, at a short distance from Pilrig Park. Moreover, the area was shopping. There was a particularly good restaurant for the breakfast in the hotel.

The room was tastefully decorated and fashionable, had smoke detectors for the safety. The breakfast was rich and absolutely fantastic, it had exceptional meals.

Gluten free breakfast with lots of good food. Incredible and beautiful location, a few steps away from Leith Walk.

Exceptional food at breakfast served in the dining room. The most important - magnificent location ready to depart to the station at about 12pm.

Very well decorated and well-equipped room with the bathroom, a private bath plus kitchen appliances, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety.

I enjoyed this wonderful old and exquisite place, stayed there for 3 nights. The meals in the dining room were savoury. It made my trip to Edinburgh a very very good experience.

The venue's position was central. The staff were excellent friendly and affable and helped with free parking. I ate at a lovely restaurant for the breakfast.

The location was particularly good and lovely, adjacent to the center/Waverly railway station, two restaurants-oneofwhich was a fish restaurant called The Ship in Shore, Leith which was excellent and the most amazing '' Tailend '' restuarant, and the free parking was an excellent bonus. It also was from the Ocean terminal.

The location was absolutely perfect and magnificent and the staff were amicable. Broughton district was worth staying in. The rooms were stylish and new-fashioned with a bathroom across the hall, I loved that. The breakfast was varied at 9:15am, with a huge variety of food.

The staff is welcoming, the breakfast marvellous, the location is STUNNING close to Scotland, a fish restaurant called The Ship in Shore, and Edinburgh. The units are compact, spotless. All in all they offer exceptional service. Moreover, the parking is nearby.

This hotel was good choice for exploring Edinburgh, liked it. I got marvellous breakfasts with smoked salmon and options to choose among, as example. The location was marvellous and brilliant, not too far from St James.

We had incredible breakfasts with large portions, smoked salmon and options to choose among. It was short walk to theatre, castle and centre of Edinburgh, brilliant location overall.

The property met required needs, we will certainly stay here again. Breakfast was very good and staff helpful. We liked to have evening drinks at The Brass Monkey, based nearby.

The location is extremely quiet! Good sleep in a comfy bed. We loved canadale guest house so we would come back for sure. Parking nearby was provided.
