Had spotless and modern room with shared bathroom and central heating, tea/coffee making equipment, and a work desk. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the balcony had pleasant views over the gardens. The location was great and the services were excellent.

Reasonably clean and lovely place, savoury and tasty breakfast with lots of options. Great staff, spotless room with good bed. Bright decor. Great and lovely location, nice quiet area.

Thanks all for an extra special stay of 3 nights or less. Its location was good and incredible, really close to the centre of Edinburgh, coffee shops and local queries regarding buses, dining out, nearby attractions. Plus, it was about 15 minutes' drive to Calton Hill.

The location was great and incredible and a bus stop was near the hotel. Got spotlessly clean deluxe queen room with views over the gardens when arrived, truly enjoyed that. Actually everything was good, my next choice again in Edinburgh.

Because of a problem with the deluxe queen room I was upgraded and had perfectly clean and compact room with comfy bed.

The breakfast was savoury and had a good choice of options. The location of this lovely hotel was absolutely perfect, in a nice quiet neighborhood which allows a good night sleep. Plus, it was not far from Edinburgh, restaurants shops and bus stops to the city and sea.

It was so close to local queries regarding buses, dining out, nearby attractions, old town and the highlights, particularly good location overall. The staff was really helpful, the room was newly remodelled and neat with views over the gardens.

Its location is magnificent, near to Edinburgh centre. Don't forget to visit nearby Cafe Montagu, they have best coffee ever.

The location in the centre was handy for us. The room we booked was recently refurbished and compact with tea, enough towels and coffee as advertised. The service offered was excellent.

I found Starbank Inn offering shots and different drinks 2 km of the venue. I appreciated staying here.

Booked a room with views over the gardens. It met standards. Location: the hotel was near the bay, old town and Edinburgh for a weekend.

The room was new-fashioned and immaculate, with bright decor and central heating, a coffee/tea maker and a multi-channel TV for our comfort.

All in all, it was decent base for travelling to Edinburgh. One of the advantages - immaculate rooms; they included shower facilities and bath sheets.

Bright and immaculate room with the things I needed. The bed was very comfy, a bath worked well.

We would like to come again anytime, it's GOAT! Had a lovely experience staying at the deluxe double room. For short-orders there was the chip pan, we found it close by...

Nothing it was perfect!

This hotel was chilled-out base for exploring Edinburgh, greatly enjoyed it. We found heating, a sitting area and a study table in the deluxe king room. In addition, free WiFi was a plus.

We appreciated breakfast and location. Morning meal food was gorgeous;)))
