The beds were big and each well decorated room had an electric kettle, a stone fireplace, and central heating.

The staff is very very helpful as well as hotel's host. The building is very beautiful and the rooms are a nice size and brand-new with a great breakfast, windows to the back, for instance.

The staff was amiable and the room was stylish and airy. The location was magnificent, 15 km to Edinburgh airport, perfectly reachable.

It's clean hotel nestled in an elegant style building in the particularly good area. Fabulously friendly staff always on hand. Easy check-in and great-sized room with a great breakfast 20 minute walk to the centre, view to garden and the double bed. Delicious food choices for breakfast.

We loved marvellous breakfasts with vegan options and fruit juice, as example. The hotel had incredible and stunning location just off Stockbridge, a very nice and modern quarter, other great parks and river walks and the botanical gardens and other great parks and river walks.

This was a particularly good and excellent location short walk to main Edinburgh tourist attractions, the centre, close to all the pubs and good distance from old town and a very nice area of Edinburgh. Besides, an official residence was 3 km away from the property. We had early check in and the rooms were reasonably large and airy with tilted ceiling, all necessary amenities, as example.

Some people working there were unwelcoming.

Want to say thank you for good stay. It's perfect little and clean hotel, has nice and absolutely perfect location in a very nice residential area.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was perfect little and clean, with magnificent and exceptionally nice location in the neighbourhood.

Residential location was a plus. Regret that we didn't have time and missed a continental breakfast. The staff were genuinely helpful and very responsive.

Fairly clean and nicely presented hotel, welcoming staff and exceptionally comfortable beds. Lovely design of interiors in double room. Location - unbeatable, just off Smith and Gertrude wine bar, Stockbridge market, local shops as well as the city centre by foot.

The breakfasts were amazing and absolutely fantastic, always with plenty of meals. The double room was airy and had a sparkling clean bathroom. The location was magnificent, close to Raeburn Place. This hotel was located in a particularly good area.

The location couldn't be more good and magnificent close to Edinburgh city center. What's more, it was just off Gertrude wine bar, a private garden and good restaurants and shops.

The peaceful and perfect location was near Patriothall Gallery. We were offered marvellous continental breakfast with vegan options, cake and fruit juice. The most important was the staff - especially helpful and very amiable people.

Tbh, had a perfect stay for 4 nights. Every detail of the hotel was very good, all the staff where attentive and kind. The breakfasts here were incredible with gluten free options and different breads, for instance. It took only 5 minutes to walk to St Bernard's Crescent bus stop.

The staff was also excellent at all levels. A fireplace, a work desk and a flat-screen TV in our queen room were realy useful during our stay. Stockbridge district deserves to be explored.
