Possibly the best and very nice stay for 3 nights. A magnificent and ideal location with garden view, just off all the modern conveniences, many fine restaurants and main attractions in city center. Besides, easy to get to a public park.

Relaxing and amazing venue, incredible location near which should be well within walking distance of most people, by bus / taxi and playhouse and surrounding areas.

The staff are hospitable, the hotel is relaxing and with marvellous location really close to Easy to walk to restaurants, and Regent. The breakfast was fresh and absolutely fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed lots of meals. The rooms are spotless and have lovely view over the garden.

I had a superb and plentiful breakfast with options for vegetarians, free wine and toast. I stayed in spotlessly clean and huge room with bath and shower, the tea and plenty of light as expected. As for me, the location was marvellous, close to playhouse and surrounding areas, and easy walking distance. I spent 2 nights and would book here again.

The location was good and magnificent and the public parking was on street. Found Tesco Express, it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel.

Had a tasteful twin/double room, which allowed us to enjoy lovely view over the garden. The bed was very comfy and there were iron/ironing board, a coffee/tea maker, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels to use.

Incredible location to the walled garden, reasonably large rooms. And near to the centre of Edinburgh, magnificent views of the whole city and all major attractions, pubs and restaurants.

It's exceptional small hotel with professional and delightfully helpful staff. The building is gorgeous and the rooms are a nice size and well-equipped.

Everything was very comfortable, I 100% recommend. It has great-sized spotless rooms, that come with beautiful bathroom, the the garden plus lovely towels. There is a lot of excellent food for breakfast.

Free Wi-Fi was available; the breakfast was delicious. Good sized rooms with an air conditioning, a sofa bed and an iPod dock, etc. Appreciated that the hotel was just next door to the train station, 20 minutes' walk. Had opportunity to use ironing at no cost.
