Malmaison Edinburgh

Everything is amazing here, had a very nice stay for 3 nights. The rooms are nice looking with window open, and the location is marvellous in a really interesting area of Edinburgh. The hotel provides a well-stocked breakfast with bacon, 'the terrace' and generous portions.

The staff were reasonably good, the location was great. We had a comfortable bedroom.

Impeccably clean place, well-trained and service-oriented staff, incredible location. Well-equipped and nicely decorated rooms, incredible view of the castle and Arthur's seat.

Every detail was immaculate, really enjoyable. Double room was brand-new, value for money in comparison with other options. The staff were responsive and location was excellent and absolutely perfect. Moreover, the hotel was near Grand Central Hall.

Newly remodelled, reasonably clean place and very pleasant area. Well-trained staff on shift, stocked, brand-new rooms. The continental breakfast with Continental options, really nice coffee and delicious hot food. Exceptionally nice location and good facilities.

It has perfect location right by Edinburgh on the way back from the highlands, good restaurants and access to Edinburgh city centre via public transport, and buses/transport.

The stuff are hospitable people on duty manager involved. The location is magnificent and marvellous, on waterfront-taxi. Plus, this hotel is next to several pubs and many chic bars and restaurants.

The venue is fairly clean, with particularly good location really close to the white tubes, and good restaurants & bars.

Had well-stocked and above average breakfasts with generous portions. The room was kept knocking things over getting up and available with fantastic beds, a free drink and a fan.

Here I spent 1 night and enjoyed being in this place. The restaurant was cosy with this meal, I tried excellent dishes. The hotel was fancy and in a central location. Also, the distance to Royal Yacht Britannia was just 1 km.

Plenty of food for the continental breakfast. Magnificent and absolutely perfect location in an interesting area adjacent to nice restaurants and cafes, and the Glasgow and Edinburgh one. Besides, easy access to Ss Explorer.

Booked nicely decorated room that was improved. Walk in shower was huge and everything was absolutely fine.

By and large, it was nice base for sightseeing in Edinburgh, had much fun and met well-trained and hard-working staff with a very uncommunicative receptionist.

The hotel's location was great and lovely, in an interesting revived dock area with shopping malls and a market within walking distance. The staff were knowledgeable, we had an early check in and an easy check-out.

Accommodation was spacious and beautifuly designed with well-trained and hard-working staff on shift. The setting was excellent and unbeatable, close to restaurants close by too, the overall beautiful Edinburgh, and excellent pubs and restaurants. Really enjoyed the historic-style building and well decorated room with a comfortable bed.

Wi-Fi was very poor also the bed of mine was a little hard.

The place was beautifuly designed and had hard-working staff at reception desk, loved the stay. Well-appointed and beautifully decorated rooms with a very comfortable bed, felt like home. The location was magnificent and wonderful - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Plus it was in an interesting area.

The location was beautiful in restaurant as fully booked. Further, it was just off the port area surrounded by bars, other outlying districts and the main tourist areas like Princes Street. Double room was stocked with a view, value for money.

It has highly courteous staff at reception desk and great and lovely location, that could not be beaten. Plus it's set in the very vibrant area.

The location was perfect and brilliant: shopping malls and specialty shops were within walking distance. The staff were efficient and the restaurant was nice! The continental breakfast was hot.

The stay for a business trip certainly was great value. The place was impeccably clean with a modern design and friendly professional staff. Truly enjoyed our room that was kept very clean and available with goodies, a harbour view, for example. The breakfast was well-stocked and above average and included.

Enjoyable stay for two nights we had previously stayed before. Very very good building and spotless and luxurious rooms by charcoal based decor. Plenty of facilities such as: an iron with ironing board, an electronic key card, tea and coffee making equipment. Good parking and sensational breakfast on 'the terrace'.

Booked a room with magnificent views over marina. Our accommodation was set in a central location close enough to the restaurant and central Edinburgh. Moreover, it was 3 km from Calton Hill.

This hotel was good value as opposed to other options. There were airy and luxury rooms with a spotless bathroom. The staff was top-class and patient throughout the day. The breakfast was warm and generous, the check in was very good. The downstairs bar was pleasant, enjoyed it. The location in a very nice area was incredible and handy and there were boutiques and specialty shops nearby.

Great place for a 2-night stay. Modern furniture available. The bar staff had a very pleasant manner. Leith district is a good choice and absolutely worth visiting.

The breakfast was amazing, we would come there again. The shore restaurant is a short walk to the hotel;)))
