It was fairly clean inside. The staff was outstandingly accommodating, gave advice about the city. Liked the continental breakfast.

Overall particularly good location close enough to the city center by bus and Edinburgh city centre.

Thank you very much all for a good stay for a weekend or short stay. Greatly enjoyed how the reasonably large room with breakfast included was arranged when we arrived. The location was nice and perfect, right next to huge park with easy access to shops and supermarkets.

The venue's position was remote. A bus stop was in front of the venue. Got warm and cosy room with a shared bathroom, the diligent attention plus tbh a very depressing atmosphere - always come in handy.

It was a comfortable place. Every staff member was outstandingly accommodating and affable. I enjoyed croissants, cereal, jam, and cheese food in the morning.

The location of the hotel was peaceful, right in the city centre.

Our room was warm and cosy and never cleaned or beds made. Central heating, an ironing set, and coffee/tea making machines were available here too. This hotel was located in a remote area next to a bus station directly to the City Centre, close to pubs and two Tesco Supermarkets as well as pubs.

The breakfast had lots of options, croissants, cereal, jam, and cheese. It had marvellous location near to a park, the sea and all local attractions. Went to The Persevere Bar for drink or two, set not too far from the hotel.

Everything was good with spacious rooms. An interesting area, marvellous and perfect location near a bus station, and pubs and two Tesco Supermarkets. Plus, walking distance to South Leith Parish Church.

The room was lovely and cosy, offered facilities we needed. We had a lovely bed, a hair dryer and bath sheets. Hotel's location was great and magnificent as it was in front of a bus stop.

The rooms are well laid out and large, the bed is very clean. The continental breakfast is a feast. The location it offers is perfect, right by Portobello Beach, and a bus line. Leith district won't disappoint you.

It has good location in Edinburgh just next door to a bus station directly to the City Centre, close to pubs and two Tesco Supermarkets, huge park and Portobello Beach. The staff are amicable and really care about the guests. Next time in Edinburgh, I would stay here again.

The property seemed fairly clean and the room was neat. The room was never cleaned or beds made and available in good condition. Its location was great and ideal, in the park on at least 2 evenings until after 9. We had early meal in Lucky Buddha, based nearby.

I came to Edinburgh for one night - everything was good. St James was near the hotel, loved its location close to the city centre.

It was a nice place for one night. We loved rooms with a shared bathroom. Had remote location close enough to walk to sightseeing spots. The service was exceptional as we had expected. The experience was good, would come here again.

Overall it was a REALLY GREAT stay for a weekend or short stay. The location of the hotel was remote, near to the city centre, large green area and the 24 bus line. Besides, the property was 3 km away from Co-op Food.

Comfy bed and convenient location. Breakfast costs 8 GBP per person per day, worth paying for.

set within just 1 mile, palace of holyroodhouse is easy to reach. it is surely great value for money.

We enjoyed the facilities and staff and the best prices. There's nothing to complain about, we would definitely go back...
