Arden Guest House, Craigmillar Castle Edinburgh

I had a pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. I enjoyed the room, the bed was very clean. It had a large bathroom and an iron, coffee/tea making machines, and a work desk.

Our charming little room was airy and bed was comfortable.

It had a magnificent and unbeatable location just off very hot conservatory where food was left out unchilled, a bus stop, and Craigmillar Castle.

It was fairly clean, and the people were excellent and affable.

The staff where pretty friendly and pleasant hole time of my stay. Provided full English breakfast. The hotel was nice and in a central location very close to city centre, Edinburgh by bus and Queeen Mary's castle. Also, Fox was max 25 minutes walk to.

Our room was stocked, airy and equipped with biscuits, 2 single beds, for instance.

Asked for standard king room and it was good-sized and airy with spacious bathroom. The hotel's location was central, in lovely surroundings.

Everything was perfectly fine from staff, who were excellent, to the comfortable location. My room was nicely furnished and stocked with a selection of teas as well as coffees as described. The breakfast offered a good choice of delightful meals.

Booked it for 1 day and had a lovely experience. The hotel was set in a central area really close to Arden Guest House as well as Pitlochry. All the staff was excellent friendly and excellent, settled my issues. The full English breakfast food was amazing.

Had pleasant stay on a business trip. We lived in the standard queen room with twin beds and tea/coffee. The location was convenient, on the main connecting road-bus stop, convenient to go everywhere. It was also just off very hot conservatory, the Arden by chance and the outskirts of Edinburgh. Variety of food for breakfast, everything was delightful.

Nice hotel located in a quiet area near about 5 takeaways the owners were very nice. Airy & nicely furnished unit with a double bed, a selection of teas plus good housekeeping. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Ideal and easy location, a short way from everywhere.

Planned to see Edinburgh major attractions and it was good choice for visiting all of them. Attentive and pleasant team, they made me feel welcome. This was exactly the standard quadruple room I wanted in Edinburgh.

One of the advantages - perfect little rooms; they included a soap and a drier. The location was excellent and the staff were accommodating. The area was pretty nice not far from Edinburgh from the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie, the outskirts of the city of Edinburgh and Arden Guest House on Oct 2008.
