The rooms are quiet with pleasant views of the park. It has both enthusiastic and nice stuff.

The location of the hotel is good, by bus or with 4 or 5 sharing taxi and nearby a bus stop. As for me the food is good, and they have plenty of meals.

Ideal place with friendly service. Outstandingly accommodating and exceptionally nice staff, easy check in. Good food for dinner and breakfast.

I stayed in the room that was not cleaned properly the fridge was dirty and available with nice park view. I loved its family atmosphere. Very central location of this nice basic hotel was a bonus.

Perfect place overall, it is spotlessly clean, location is nice and magnificent right next to a park. Friendly service and the food is local. Plus, private parking is available onsite.

The bed was perfect, and the room itself was nice. The staff was superbly friendly, provided an easy check-in and an easy check-out.

The location was fab, sure to plan you 're trip back to the airport accordingly as you will need to take two buses to get there, convenient to go everywhere. The room we booked was spotless and cheap, with the sashed windows, shower plus a double bed.

The location turned out to be marvellous and handy, so close to the markets and city centre via bus route, easy transport and transport links. I loved how neat and airy the room was.

It is clean and reasonably large hotel, the staff are incredibly nice and location convenient to city centre is great and handy.

The location was marvellous and incredible - next to Edinburgh city centre and leith terminal as well as bus stop. Moreover, the hotel was relatively close to a neo-gothic library.

Good and local food. Particularly good and perfect spot next to the markets and city centre and Princes Street and the Royal Mile.

It's a cheerful nice basic hotel nestled in a classic style building. I have stayed in the standard triple room with an extra bed.

Incredibly nice staff, particularly good and handy location close enough to good pubs, and on the main bus route into Edinburgh.

Had a great stay with my family members, we spent 2 nights here, everything was great. Had a huge family king room, which allowed me to enjoy particularly nice view of the park.

I appreciated the room with an extra bed, the bed was comfortable. The location for Edinburgh was nice and magnificent, just off a taxi to city centre which was convenient, sightseeing places and good public transport and a good Indian Restaurant.

Had very relaxing stay on a night out rather than a romantic trip and the weather was fine. The hotel room was new-fashioned and huge with five unmade beds, shower, as example. The location was very central, very close to the Links park, beach and Leith town centre, public transport and cabs and all major attractions.

The place was clean, I booked the twin room with park views, everything was good. The stuff was PLEASANT, exceptional all the time. I greatly enjoyed the continental breakfast. The location was marvellous: a market and local supermarkets were within walking distance.

Everything was ideal, incredibly nice staff, marvellous location right by Leith Links park, local amenities and transport links and a good Indian Restaurant.

it was a really enjoyable stay on a night out rather than a romantic trip. had good sleep at the family king room with iron, a sofa, as for instance. got ironing for free, didn't expect that.

I had en suite, practical room complete with a power shower, a double bed, a large bathroom. I had local food for breakfast for my needs...

good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like the lioness of leith that was only 15 minutes' walk away. the rooms were excellent, no complaints. location, easy walk to all attractions. it is right by the airport.

All the main sights, including princes street are in front of the hotel. The place was a short walk to a bus stop. Merchiston district is worth your attention.
