The room was new-fashioned and overlooked sea.

The location was ideal and nice, so close to the beach, convenient to go everywhere. Went to Mercat Bar for drink or two, set at a short distance from the hotel. Was a perfect base for trip.

Relaxing accommodation, beautiful location so close to the beach, excellent breakfast. Good sized and well-organised units with an absolutely breathtaking view over sea.

Reasonably spacious and huge room plus iron and ironing board, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk. Incredible and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast with a huge variety of food. Extremely comfy bed and great location in the restaurant in the evening which again is right on the seafront.

Everything was very good and the view was great. The room was neat and had a kettle, central heating, and an iron. The location was stunning and lovely - next to pubs and a zoo. The restaurant was pleasant, I ordered excellent dishes. I had an enjoyable stay in a long time.

They offered huge and modern rooms with shower.

Its location was good, near Edinburgh city centre by bus, the sea and the sun rise and the racecourse.

The location of the property was incredible and beautiful, by the ocean. The staff were amiable, amicable. The double room was modern and updated with a great view.

It was a very special stay, perfect place. Everything was fantastic, incredibly welcoming staff, stunning location near the sea and the sun rise, the restaurant overlooking the sea and the conservatory. I was given double room with a kettle, central heating, and an iron. The bathroom was modern style and included a bath, which I liked.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would love to come back here some time, thanks very much. The hotel was quaint, it met requirements, I loved its beautiful location close to the restaurant overlooking the sea, and all Portobello's nice cafes.

Every visit to Edinburgh we like to stay here. The hotel staff are super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is served in the restaurant!

The room was lovely and fabulous, we truly enjoyed it. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, view over the sea was lovely. This accommodation had a central setting on seafront.

The rooms are beautiful and incredible with clean bathrooms. The staff is wonderful and amazing and the food is gorgeous. The hotel is set in a brilliant and super location next to the restaurant, and a cruise ship. Portobello district definitely deserves exploring.

The hotel itself was fairly clean and quirky. I was greeted by an efficient and active receptionist who made the stay a very lovely experience. The room I stayed in was tidy with tea, seaview, an amazing view.

The location turned out to be best possible, not far from the beach as well as city centre. Sensational breakfast, liked the place where it was.

The staff were amiable and efficient, and we could use wake up calls and ironing free of charge. Everything seemed really good, clean. The location was PEACEFUL, just a short walk away from Newhailes Estate.

I have stayed in the single room with shower. Its location is stunning, walk from restaurants and bars. The hotel's restaurant is pleasant for breakfast.

Excellent location and food, overall the hotel was quirky. The room was fabulous and updated with comfy beds and I loved the traditional-style building. A bus station steps away from the property was really handy.
