The staff was amicable and really kind as we expected.

Decent sized and stylish rooms, the views of the sea were lovely. The hotel was in an amazing location just off the centre of the city, historical Edinburgh and attractions, pubs and places to eat.

We had a lovely bedroom. It had an exceptionally comfortable bed and included a good size bathroom a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. The location was marvellous, overlooking city.

The room was a nice size with kitchenette, stayed here for 2 nights. The location to a museum and a cathedral was best possible and absolutely fabulous for everything I could possibly need.

The staff were very very helpful, made our stay really really nice. The location of the hotel was amazing, in a castle with all new modern facilities. Apart from that, a historic water pump was 15 minutes away by driving.

Best possible location right in the heart of the Old Town, you can walk everywhere. There's Devil's Advocate with nice shots an easy walk to the venue.

The room was new-fashioned and romantic with a great view, we stayed in all day. The personnel was affable and brilliantly friendly as expected. The location was best possible and absolutely fabulous in the brilliant area.

Our rooms were fashionable and neat with bedroom, access to the apartment, gift wrapped in cellophane. All the staff was amiable and we had an early check in. The location of this hotel was great and incredible.

This royal hotel stands out for its nice design. The location of the venue is good and stunning, very close to various eateries and historical/tourist locations as well as Royal Mile, close to Edinburgh castle. Plus, it's just a short walk away from Collective Gallery.

The location was great and incredible, in the centre of town, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The room was spotless, without a doubt, had a microwave, an electric kettle, and fridges.

The king suite is fashionable, we also enjoyed pleasant views. The location of the hotel is best possible and absolutely fabulous, close to all the the tourist spots as well as a historical area of old town.

Royal well priced hotel with amiable staff. Incredible location - near to centre of the city, the Bank of Scotland and Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Around 4-6 minutes away by foot from Edinburgh Old Town and 500 metres from a green Flag park. Reasonably large rooms, nice view to the western sunset. Exceptionally comfortable bed, early check-in.

Truly enjoyed the double room and the way it was setup. It was spacious, and employees were affable and very kind.

I got a modern and fashionable room and the staff were super. The location was incredible, so close to all major city attractions and bars, grocery stores and food delivery, and the train station and grassmarket for bars and easily accessible. Besides, the hotel was just a pleasant stroll away from a combined museum.

The location is unbeatable, it's in Old Town district not far from the center of Royal Mile, close to Edinburgh castle, the attractions and Edinburg.

Everything about this royal hotel was well-maintained. Double room with iron board, had essentials required. The staff were accommodating and great, ready to any request. The venue was in a marvellous location just off Edinburgh airport, pub which looks open very late, and grocery stores and food delivery. It also was right near Edinburgh castle.

The location was good and fantastic: the Christmas market and a market were within walking distance.

A nice size and very well decorated room with kettle, the comfiest bed, as example for a BRILLIANT stay for 2 nights. Best possible location near all the shops and restaurants, good restaurants in the local area. And right by an art museum.

It was a royal hotel that covered all our needs. The location was good for first time visitors to Edinburgh. Also, a green Flag park was placed just 1 km from the venue. The restaurant was good, and the staff outstandingly accommodating. We truly enjoyed this staying.

A nice size rooms come with comfortable beds. A good choice of options, great food. Best possible location to pretty much everything, and 10 minute walk from a standing tower.

Really noisy area.

Everything was well-maintained, I liked my stay. The personnel was accommodating, and the owner too. The food was fabulous, drinks were cool. Had amazing location within walking distance of many attractions and neat rooms. My stay was absolutely amazing here.

The hotel was in a marvellous and fab position next to the center of Old Town, the centre of Royal Mile and the castle, train station, Royal mile. It also was to all popular landmarks.

Had a really nice stay of a weekend, and will be back. The location was amazing - just next door to good pubs, bars and restaurants, a castle and top tourist spots in the city by walk. Local fast food option Oink was 5 minutes walk away. I asked for double room and it was large and beautifully designed except for the pull out sofa. Climate control and a lounge were all available.

Double room I stayed at was large with kitchenette. The hotel was in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the Old Town.

Location - best possible, not far from the railway station as well as the tourist attractions. A nice size room, with kitchenette, outstandingly accommodating staff.

The location was easy for my stay, 200 metres from a long - standing tower. It took 10 minutes by foot to reach the train station.

Came in Edinburgh to relax and have fun, this royal hotel was best base for doing it. Easy location, we were close to centre of the city.

It is hard to find a well priced royal hotel that has a very central location and fashionable and fabulous rooms. A microwave oven, an electric kettle and fridges are a nice touch. Moreover, it has excellent wi-fi, really handy. Will be back, a really really nice stay for the Christmas holidays.
