This was a magnificent location just off the main attractions, city center or tourist shopping and Scotland. The staff was efficient and responsive to what we asked for. The room was well priced and brand-new with private bathroom when upgraded.

I was upgraded to a brand-new double room with private bathroom. The location was perfect for visiting restaurants and pubs a short walk to the hotel.

Beautiful old and well-kept hotel located near Bus Transport to Edinburgh Town Centre and Tourist Spots, restaurants and buses and the Capital. Magnificent location in a quiet neighborhood, incredible base for an easter. Again, not far from Manchester Arena.

Had a fantastic stay here during our weekend. The hotel was fairly clean with enjoyable and delicious breakfast selections. The staff was welcoming and nice, always there to help. The location was great and handy, not far from the city center and a quiet neighbourhood, in a fairly nice area.

The place was beautifully kept and nice, nothing to complain about, recommend. The room was neat, airy, exclusive bathroom. Excellent and absolutely perfect location right to Murryfield stadium made it easy to get to key attractions.

It had marvellous and handy location, so close to grocery stores and more as well as all the main attractions. There was café Java Bar Espresso, that I found within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel. The nice staff made my weekend a warm experience.

The place was exceptionally clean and we loved double room. Booked a room with great views of the garden. The bed was very comfy, and the breakfast was tasteful and wonderful. The staff were attentive and caring and the location was magnificent very close to the center. Our stay there was absolutely amazing.

I was on a weekend and booked double room with clean bath facilities, a nice view, for example. Great and handy location near downtown core, a quiet area, and the main attractions like Edinburgh castle, I felt safe. Had tea and goodies at Union Eatery & Coffee, nestled 1 km of the hotel.

King room with private bathroom was the best. Its location was great and handy, in a very quiet neighbourhood, and in a fairly nice area. Also, we were 3 km from popular place such as Arthur's Seat hike.

The restaurant food is excellent, and the breakfast offered is enjoyable with pastries. The location great for Newington district, it is just off the main attractions like Edinburgh castle.

Had great 3 nights here. Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, there were a multi-channel television, ironing facilities and a writing table available. Everything was simply good.

There is a central heating, an ironing set, coffee and tea making facilities - that's always a plus. It's a short walk to restaurants and pubs too...

Everything was great and the view was particularly nice. The staff were pleasant and obliging and the facilities were good. The location was peaceful, within walking distance of George Square. The restaurant was pleasant and the food was warm.

Everything was very good, it had free wifi, no complaint. The staff were pleasant and food was brilliant. The rooms were huge and airy with required things, like iron and ironing board, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk. Overlooked garden. I liked that the hotel was 24 minutes drive from the airport. Stay here was RELAXING, I did not want to leave there.
