The rooms were huge and great-sized with kettle, coffee, a private bathroom, no complaints. The location was magnificent, not too far from National Football Museum.

It was excellent place for travelling to Edinburgh, I was glad to stay there. The staff were helpful and very amiable day and night. The double room was reasonably spacious with all the essentials, an ironing board plus a private bathroom.

Everything was good during 2 days, liked its marvellous and perfect location not far from Royal Mile, many buses and the garden in the summer.

Marvellous and unbeatable location to a combined museum. Set next to the garden in the summer, many buses leading to the center and the bus stops in the fairly quiet area.

Make sure you stay in the small room with the view of the garden. Polite people that welcomes you in.

The atmosphere of the hotel is family.

I had a good-sized and brand-new room with clean bathroom. Got very big bed and free Wi-Fi. The location was particularly good, for example, a public research university was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel.

The staff were nice and polite and know their duties. The room was extremely spacious and offered with smart TV, an ironing board plus all the essentials.

The unit we got was big size with WiFi. Marvellous and absolutely perfect location - just walking distance from everywhere we needed.

The location seemed particularly good close to centre. Popped in Tony's Fish Bar for shots before sleep, it was at a moderate distance from the venue.

Small room with tea, all the essentials, a private bathroom. The very amiable and polite staff all round. Great and absolutely perfect setting, near Newington as well as many buses leading to the center. Plus, 10 minutes drive from a green Flag park.

I found the hotel's location marvellous, next to the garden in the summer.

Appreciated our 2 nights here. Edinburgh airport was hardly 24 minutes away by car. Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would return there.

Location: the hotel was short walk to the garden in the summer with a wee glass of wine, the city centre by car and Newington.

Small room had a comfortable bed. Its location was unbeatable, adjacent to centre, Newington and the garden.
