The Claremont Hotel Edinburgh

Appreciated my really really nice stay for a two day visit. I had the quadruple room which was compact on a lower level. An electric kettle, central heating, and an iron were available in the room. The setting was great and stunning, not far from the outskirts of the very centre, and close to Tesco / local restaurants. Also, Staines Moor Country Park was 3 km away from the hotel.

Glad I took twin room, it was cheap and huge. The food is different, thoroughly enjoyed full English breakfast. Thanks to all really kind staff.

The room turned out to be compact and functional with the TVs, three beds plus a huge window.

Everything was very comfortable, amicable staff made our stay really really nice. We liked family room provided with very comfy bed. The breakfast with bacon was sumptuous and gorgeous.

The hotel itself was perfect and fairly clean and the staff were amazingly nice, it had magnificent location in a great area of Edinburgh. The service offered was first-rate.

My family room was available with central heating, an iron, and a TV. Pretty friendly and affable staff, everything was very comfortable. Its rooms are good-sized and functional with TV as well as flowers as advertised.

Clean venue and cooperative employees. A really safe area, good and excellent location just next door to many pubs and restaurants and public transport and free parking as well as the centre and christmas markets. Plus, walking distance to Sherlock Holmes Statue. Had friendly service.

The location was stunning for me, near enough the city centre to be able to walk into town. The breakfast was warm, lovely with meats and cheeses.

It was fairly clean, the staff was affable and gentle, plus the service was first-rate. The offered breakfast was sumptuous and large for all tastes. The location in a very nice quiet area was good and absolutely perfect.

The family room was updated in historic terrace, the bed was very comfy. First-rate service, though a few employees were chatty. The vibe here was family. In addition, parking was onsite.

Breakfast was sumptuous, fantastic views, excellent location next to city center, botanic garden, town centre and Edinburgh Tourist attractions. Compact & functional unit with a double bed. Had really comfortable an iron, tea/coffee making equipment, and a TV. Location - amazing and incredible really close to bus stops and the airport tram, Scotland and the UK and Close to supermarket. Besides, very convenient to Edinburgh Printmakers.

The breakfast was lovely and offered variety of different food. Everything was perfect, yet a few employees were chatty. Walk from a bus stop, the location was great and incredible. There was restaurant Cafe Rapido, that I found within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel.

It's a functional classic old hotel with amazing location in Broughton district really close to Edinburgh at quarter past three as well as the centre and christmas markets.

Quite basic breakfast, it should be better.

We had a sumptuous and lovely breakfast with meats, fruits, pre-packaged Croissants included. The location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, near to close to Tesco / local restaurants, and bus station, Tesco and Lidl.

Everything was very comfortable, the full English breakfast was totally worth it. The location was great and handy, close to the city center, things to do, and close to Tesco / local restaurants and easily accessible. Also, the distance to Omni Centre Edinburgh was just 1 km.

The single room had all we needed, including clean bathroom. We didn't have time and missed the full English breakfast.

We have booked single room with the bathroom fan, good views plus free breakfast for 3 nights. The breakfast was sensational, had plenty of options.

The weather was lovely, had very lovely stay on holidays. The location was marvellous as for me, very close to bus stops and the airport tram and good residential areas. I was surprised at nearby Crumbs Cafe, they had some goodies, drinks.

It was an incredible location just next door to Scotland and Edinburgh and a quiet residential area. It also was to so many places. The view from my single room was pleasant. Everything seemed perfect, clean.

The most important was the staff - accommodating and amicable people. Central location very close to city centre, it was in a very nice quiet area. Plus I reached Co-op Food in 15 minutes by foot.

I asked for a twin room and the one given was bright and airy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were polite. The venue was set in the central position so close to Old Town, Edinburgh, and center of Edinburgh.
