The Guards Hotel

The location was great, the staff were obliging. Moreover, Princes Street Gardens was just a short stroll away from the place. The room was airy and spotless, and with an excellent view over the gardens of the buildings behind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and there were a TV, facilities to make tea, and a kettle to use.

Our hotel was in an excellent and perfect location, close to a bus stop. We got a room with a bath. The staff was dog friendly and superfriendly throughout our stay.

I had the classic king room which was big with bathroom. The hotel was pretty standard and in a central location.

Liked the double room with bathroom outside, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The setting was perfect, just off tram stations. Besides, Liverpool Central Library was easy to get to.

Clean place with garden views and outstandingly accommodating staff. Excellent position: not far from the train station. Nice restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The special ambiance in the music bar.

The service in general was really great. Good setting in the ideal area, really close to shops, bars and restaurants, the tram stop which was easy to use and the tram route. 5 minutes walk from a national gallery.

The hotel was in a good and perfect location, nearby a railway station. Stopped by Laura's Kitchen to get some coffee and treats, it's near the venue, recommend.

The double room by shower curtain, facilities worked for us. Wi-Fi and a kettle were convenient. Very good service throughout the hotel.

It is a well priced and good standard property located in West End district very close to good bus route and tram route. It has unbeatable central location right near the Haymarket tram stop.

Big and brand-new units with twin beds. Easy to get to, great location adjacent to main attractions as well as Haymarket and Prince's Street. Again, not far from Saint Mary's Cathedral.

The location was great and fab, not far from all the attractions, a train station and transport connections and easily accessible. Moreover, it was 2 km from a historic fortress. The food was excellent and the staff were pleasant and really good.

The hotel is so well priced and lovely little, the stuff is amazingly nice. The rooms are good sized and newly renovated and they have tea/coffee and Wi-Fi. Overall brilliant food, plus there is Ryrie's Bar close by. Would stay here again and enjoy a comfortable stay.

The double room is cheap with the four poster bed, a plug in the sink, for example. The staff is excellent, amazing friendly.

Set in 20 minutes' walk to the heart of the city, and the employee are affable and knowledgeable. Offers very good service and brilliant food.

We had the standard room which was huge and spotless with comfy bed. The location was stunning for traveling around Edinburgh, not far from Edinburgh, the tram stop which was easy to use and to get in-and-out of the city centre, and sights, transportation.

All the facilities are good, clean hotel, its location is marvellous and decent to be close to airport shuttle pickup for early morning flight. The staff are attentive and accommodating, we loved them. At the music bar they serve BRILLIANT food and drinks. The venue provides a terrific service.

Location: the hotel was just off the railway station and Edinburgh. And there was Dimitris with short-orders close to the venue, super convenient.

Friendly personnel, comfortable bed. Very close to haymarket train station, something around 15 minutes on foot. This hotel was near such tourist places as edinburgh gin distillery.
