The hotel is beautifully decorated and really cute with highly caring staff especially the manager on arrival. Top-notch room, marvellous and lovely breakfasts. So ideal and nice location - right at Museum of Childhood. Very lively area.

Had a really great stay here. Everything was spotless, the continental breakfast was totally worth it. The rooms were inviting and luxury and beds - exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, included a hairdryer, soft bathrobes, and fresh towels. Top-notch service was provided here.

Had great stay on business trip alone, the stuff were amenable, location was fantastic convenient to all the major attractions.

Marvellous location down to the Palace, in the very lively area. Right by a Thistle chapel and other tourist attractions. The rooms fashionable and new-fashioned with floors above the pub, Prosecco and comfy bed.

I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, an electric kettle, a mini-fridge-bar, and air conditioning. The view was exceptionally good, the service was brilliant!

Well, there was no lift.

The location was marvellous: a shopping centre and a market were within walking distance. Furthermore, it was not very far from a historic fortress. When we checked in, royal double room was ready.

The place was reasonably clean with a kind staff especially the manager on arrival. The superior room I booked was luxurious. It was just off the Highlands as well as a crossroads of the Royal Mile on the route that ambulances and other emergency vehicles take often, unbeatable location overall. Had nice dainties at Gurkha Cafe & Restaurant, located few metres away from the hotel.

The location was very central, next to Canongate so handy location for anyone visiting the Royal Mile, the centre of the old town, and the center of Old Town Edinburgh. Found Ecco Vino with perfect drinks 200 metres away.

Had a wonderful stay for a wedding, everything was good. The hotel had a very central location so close to everything. Comforts of new-fashioned and compact royal queen room with great amenities where fabulous.

We had a really great time staying at this hotel. The location was great and unbeatable, the public spaces were clean and the staff was personable. The continental breakfast was incredible with variety of items to choose from.

The hotel has amazing location and outstandingly accommodating and amiable stuff especially the manager on arrival. Need to point out that its right by the city centre. The room is reasonably priced.

We were there for 3 nights, overall had a relaxing stay. Appreciated Edinburgh, the hotel was quaint to Grassmarket. The breakfast was gorgeous with avocado and fresh fruit, as example and had something for everyone.

We stay in executive room quite often, it is fashionable and new-fashioned.

The executive queen room we stayed in was compact with upper 3 floors, mini bar, as example. Incredible breakfast and other services were thoughtful. The hotel's position was great and lovely, in the centre of Edinburgh handy for all attractions.

All in all they offer thoughtful service. The rooms are reasonably large and include an electric kettle and glassware. It boasts magnificent, incredible location really close to center, all the attractions such as the Royal Mile, Castle and the Christmas Markets and the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Edinburgh Castle on the Royal Mile.

Again, not far from Edinburgh Old Town. Generally clean, elegant units provided with bar, a large bed and iron & board.

Really big beds, a mini-bar, central heating and an iron were a nice touch. The hotel was just next door to sights and Fringe performers, the centre and the old town thanks to its magnificent location. The facilities were great too.

The rooms are silent and have excellent views. Offers brilliant location in a pretty nice area. Old Town district is absolutely worth visiting.

We think it's an excellent place for staying in Edinburgh. The units are compact, spotless. The venue has excellent location in the center of Old Town.

The whole place was exceptionally clean and the staff were efficient. The room was spotless and stunning with a huge bath. I liked the very central position of this stylish and unique hotel. My stay here was really comfortable.

We enjoyed the location, not far from edinburgh old town. Quiet room. Nice design of inn on the mile. Southern Cross Cafe is located within 700 feet from the hotel.
