Unique & airy rooms with windows which opened for fresh air. Gorgeous breakfast with toast and for around £13 and delicious freshly cooked food. Stunning setting, near to central Edinburgh and Waverley rail station as well as the restaurant which was excellent.

Attached restaurant on the premises, well-designed and functional room with a shower, comfy beds and bathrooms retrofitted. Marvellous and lovely location, tourist area, just next door to the wonderful Calton Hill, and Princes Street stores and other sights.

Brilliant beautiful room, a storage, a TV set, and a kettle were appreciated. Unbeatable location, it was near a gallery and a castle. The staff was lovely all the time.

Even though everything was well-maintained, some of the staff were very unwelcoming.

Thoroughly enjoyed how the queen room with king size bed was arranged when we arrived. The hotel's location was fantastic, right by shopping areas, the Calton Hill and the centre of the capital.

Quirky, clean place with particularly nice views. Good-sized and newly renovated room with separate bathroom and a hair dryer, luggage storage, and coffee. Comfy bed, friendly attentive and very informative personnel at the reception desk. Good location in a lovely quiet area just next door to the shops Xmas market bars, the restaurant and all the main attractions.

The room was big size, the decor was great. The location was awesome, right by lovely restaurants and a shopping centre nearby, the Waverly train station and the station & city centre.

Everything there were perfect, including clean facilities. The staff was affable and exceptionally nice. The location was marvellous and the room was fairly clean. This hotel was located in a really quiet area. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The room was functional and modern, with an absolutely fabulous view of the sea.

In relation to the excellent price paid, it was nicely decorated place to stay with very good service. This was a lovely location not far from the closest underground which is QPark, all the other attractions, and the park entrance.

Every visit to Edinburgh we like to stay here. The venue is neat and spacious with outstandingly helpful staff members. The location is excellent, the breakfast is delicious. At the lounge bar they serve outstanding food and drinks.

The place was comfy, it worked for me. Enjoyed my modern and airy room with plenty of power points, a drink, as example. The attached restaurant was very clean, great service. The stay was really nice.

I've been here for 4 nights, the breakfast was delicious and good hot with tattie scones and which also included the continental. The staff were amicable, the location was great and stunning.

Wi-Fi signal was very weak, made me a little nervous.

Well, the area was quiet secluded overall.

It offers very central location, a short walk to a theatre and a palace. I have stayed in the king room with lovely bathroom.

Marvellous and lovely location with pleasant views, near to Calton Hill, Holyrood Castle and Park, the Golden Mile, and Edinburgh Castle as well as Close to most other attractions.

Twin room was airy and unique with detol anticeptic spray which help the smell. The location was marvellous and brilliant, near the station & all the sights, it's a plus. Besides, a combined museum was just 1 km away.

We booked a new-fashioned room with very tasteful soft furnishings, everything was perfect. Overall the service was good!

The hotel was situated in the very central location within walking distance of shops. And we were next to the Playhouse theater, and all the tourist attractions.

Overall it was nice styled and functional with windows which opened for fresh air. The location in the old area was great and lovely.

Well, it was an enjoyable stay normally for 1-3 nights. We had stocked double room with bath and comfy beds. All the staff was friendly attentive and very informative and greeted us warmly. That hotel was in a particularly good location, near to all attractions.

Everything was lovely and met requirements. We ate in the very pleasant restaurant for dinner which was reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable, and it was convenient to have an electric kettle and a refrigerator. The location in a lovely quiet area was excellent and there were a shopping mall and the Christmas market nearby.

Many things to mention - everything was clean, well presented food, pleasant views. It was perfectly located, where Calton Hill is easily reachable. And the area was very quiet, close to central attractions, museums, and Calton Hill.

The king room was large with big beds. Loved the location, it was marvellous and brilliant, in the heart of Edinburgh.

I liked polite personnel that ensures guests have a comfortable stay. Make sure to get twin room with fresh air or cool air and view across to an old cemetery plus a very comfortable bed. The location is very central, just off Calton Hill and commercial areas as well as tourist attractions. Besides, you can walk to Calton Hill.

The rooms were impeccable and airy, they come with very comfortable bed, fresh air or cool air, an excellent shower. Distance to the airport was just 15 km.

The property was perfectly situated relatively near Co-op Food. The continental breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed it.

There is a friendly reception to relax in. This location was great. Had breakfast for GBP 9 per person per day.

This was an EXCELLENT stay and we would definitely return here. A good sized room. Had nice dainties at Martone, located so close to the hotel.

It was in general an enjoyable experience. The beds were comfortable in our room. Within 10 mins walk to royal mile and really close to other tourist sites. Old Town district was worth visiting
