Well presented and excellent food. Efficient check-in and friendly customer service.

Glamorous and fairly clean place, everything was second to none. The staff were amazingly nice and really accommodating the whole time of my stay. The room was neat and airy, I enjoyed it, and it had a storage, armchairs, and a sofa.

This hotel was set in a central area next to the central areas of Edinburgh, plenty bars and restaurants within walking distance and buses less than a block away.

Views appeared to be odd.

Welcoming service, airy king suite with the toilets of the restaurant, the bedroom, for example.

Enjoyed our contemporary room on main level and the staff were incredibly helpful and caring. It was based in very good building in a perfect and convenient location, in a quiet location with many restaurants close by. The meal served at the attached restaurant was good.

Fairly clean hotel, facilities are well-maintained, and the location is good and ideal very close to a bus stop with many bus lines. The staff are pretty friendly people.

We had a continental breakfast and really enjoyed the quality of the food. The view on the back garden was lovely and our room was new-fashioned. We didn't want to say goodbye and would love to come back.

Stylish and fairly clean place, the rooms are reasonably sized. The staff are flexible and ready to help if you need anything. The location excellent and absolutely perfect for Newington district, it is next to shops restaurants, the Royal Mile and Princes Street and the outside garden.

Central location really close to bus stops and frequent buses, an old style townhouse walled garden, and the Usher Hall, and reasonably sized and compact room. Again, not far from Pickering's Gin Distillery.

Thanks a lot all for an excellent stay for a short visit. The staff where superfriendly and accommodating and the pool was excellent. The location was great and handy - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We had coffee at Cafe de Valencia, located within 5 minutes walk.

Stylish and fairly clean place, pleasant view of the rear garden. Plenty of delicious breakfast items to choose from. Flexible staff, perfect stay. Magnificent and lovely setting, really close to bus stops with direct link straight into the centre and very good restaurants. Plus, around 4-6 minutes away by foot from St Anthony's Chapel.

The property seemed fairly clean and the room was neat and airy. The restaurant was lovely which provides good evening meals and breakfast here, I had hot dishes. The daily service was amazing. The hotel had a comfortable location an easy walk to a chill cafe. Was set in 20 minutes' walk to the downtown, and the workers were exceptionally nice and accommodating.

The breakfast has tasty and delicious options with black pudding, a quantity plus the croissants. Always a very comfortable experience, I would return anytime.

It was a lovely small and gorgeous hotel in a nice quiet area, short walk to good restaurants and all the bus service downtown. We had contemporary and airy rooms with an electric kettle and glassware. The staff was absolutely courteous and caring, offered great services. We had a just perfect stay and the location was unbeatable.

The personal was flexible. My room was decent size with a good breakfast, had smoke detectors for safety measures. The breakfast offered plenty of options and was delicious.

The weather was lovely, had wonderful stay at reception on Saturday. It was fairly clean, new-fashioned room. The beds with hypoallergenic pillows were extremely comfy. The location was decent in the really quiet area. Besides, the property was 3 km away from a historic fortress.

everything was very good from the terrific service to the excellent food. although some of the staff were very rude, i had a nice stay. the pool was excellent and i had hot drinks in the outdoor bar. the location of the hotel was central, next to the restaurant, city centre and bars. plus there was a lake, within 5 minutes walk or so. an attached restaurant which provides good evening meals and breakfast was an advantage.

The venue is clean and big, views are lovely, the location is fab close enough to cafe, Edinburgh for, walking distance to Edinburgh Old Town. It's a couple of blocks away from Southpour, good for a little drink. The beds are exceptionally comfortable to sleep on.

The bed was comfortable. Placed 10 mins on foot from greyfriars kirkyard and adjacent to many other city attractions. The personnel were FRIENDLY.

We loved the facilities and the food and tourist-friendly prices. Tea and coffee in the bar.
