Perfect place with hospitable staff and very good wi-fi. Savoury continental breakfast at the Grand Cafe, reasonably priced. Attentive service during our stay. Marvellous and beautiful location, exclusive restaurant.

Place was fairly clean and magnificent. The room with a view of edinburgh was good value. The breakfast served was amazing and gorgeous, everything you could wish for, with creamiest scrambled eggs, sausages plus beverages. We greatly enjoyed staying 3 nights here.

The location was marvellous as a gallery and a palace were walking distance to the hotel. There was Nicholson's, located nearby, where we relaxed.

Had a very positive stay for the five star service to end, glad I've chosen it. Immaculate rooms, decent views of Edinburgh castle, the staff was nice. The hotel was in a very central setting near the tourist areas. Besides, the property was 2 km away from St Johns Market.

The property was lovely modern and grand old and we had a very very good stay. The breakfast was hot and extensive, it had exceptional meals. The pool was excellent and the staff was friendly efficient. The location was very central, amazing near train station. Besides, the hotel was not too far away from Beauty Bazaar. Marvellous service, good value, just what was needed.

It was reasonably priced, compared to other trendy boutique hotels. This hotel was located in a very central area really close to an one inch square of belly pork, the beautiful restaurant, and the Scott Monument.

The room was warm enough with wooden walls. The breakfast was amazing with good strong coffee, and good value as opposed to other options.

Absolutely lovely building, great and fab location really close to Edinburgh Castle and all of the Old Town attractions, Register House, and the Caves where the wedding was held. The breakfast was nice hot, extensive with cooked-to-order options such as Eggs Benedict or Pancakes.

I was here for 4 nights and ate at award-winning restaurant with a good wine list and superb breakfasts including Haggis. A minibar, a storage space, and a coffeemaker where useful. The hotel had magnificent location just off all the shops, museums, bars and restaurants, the castle and the Palace of Holyrood, and central edinburgh, perfectly located between the royal mile and princess street. Also, City Art Centre was at a short distance.

Continental breakfast was lovely with delicious hot dishes. It was conveniently located in a good area.

Appreciated our spotless and very traditional rooms, plus the staff was perfectly fine. The location was great, close to North Bridge. Plus it was walking distance to a gallery and a palace.

The location is marvellous, within a close distance from Royal Mile. The room is average sized and well heated with a lovely roll top bath in a separate turret, also they can offer wake-up service.

The property is fairly clean with a nice design, and the continental breakfast is savoury. The room is reasonably priced. This hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from the train station. Don't forget to visit nearby Gurkha Cafe & Restaurant, they have best coffee ever.

The guest room overlooks the city and includes an electric kettle and glassware. The staff are very welcoming people who took our bags and guided us to the the reception desk. It boasts great location, walking distance to some of the amazing attractions Edinburgh has to offer.

Marvellous breakfasts, with Eggs Benedict or Pancakes and bacon, as example. Spotless and updated rooms with ridiculously large tv at end of bed, and superb restaurant. Awesome and exceptional location in a great area walking distance to a theatre and a castle.

The room was updated, cheap with a couch under the other window, ridiculously large TV at end of bed, for example and good value.

This is a hotel go-to for Edinburgh! The rooms are spotless and top-notch and the continental breakfast offered has lots of dishes. Plus, the location is incredible and brilliant, minutes from Museum of Edinburgh. What's more, it's in a lovely area next to the centre of the city, and Edinburgh.

We had air conditioned, compact room with Carlton Hill in the distance, a king size bed, for instance. The swimming pool was very clean too.

We ate in the perfect restaurant for a Christmas lunch which was great priced. There were an electric kettle and glassware. It had great location walking distance to a gallery and a palace.

The property has an incredible location, very close to bars and restaurants as well as the city centre. For tea and goodies visit Patisserie Valerie Northbridge, located close by.

Appreciated the place, had a very enjoyable stay in winter. Its location was handy and easy close to the shopping district. And Co-op Food was only 1 km from the accommodation.

The location in the centre of the city was brilliant. Plus, it was next to train station, old town, the center of Edinburgh.

The breakfast is exceptional with plenty of things to eat and drink. Guest room is unique, has an awesome bathroom. This hotel is conveniently located 1 km away from Grassmarket.

My guest room was immaculate with an electric kettle, a mini bar fridge and an air conditioning.

The rooms are fashionable and immaculate with a very big bed, great bathroom plus dining table.

My twin/double room was airy and stylish. The stuff where consistently courteous and the wake up calls and ironing were free of charge. The pool was nice.

It was in a very central setting on original office building. The room was huge and had central heating, an iron and ironing board, and an electronic key card.

Got the same twin/double room booked online, appreciated that, and the staff were exceptional people at all times. This quiet hotel had very central setting to various places. We had lunch in Viva Mexico, located nearby.

We had 2 nights in Edinburgh, spend our time here excellently. Great views all around the hotel. Location in the heart of the city.

The staff was extremely friendly and the location was superb. The suite was well maintained and very clean. Only 5 min walk to downtown.

Our room was very clean. Pret a manger is set 100 feet away from the property. Lovely 4-star experience. Our hotel was located next to tourist attractions like scott monument.
