Its location was magnificent, near to good restaurants, and in a safe area. The bedroom was extremely pleasant and beautiful old.

The hotel is set in a perfect location just next door to main tourist attractions, Princes Street in minutes, and New Town. Also, it's 3 km away from Saint Anne's Well.

The location was excellent and perfect, very close to the centre. Plus, Saint Mary's Cathedral was located in the immediate surroundings. My nice old and well-equipped room included good sized bed, iron and ironing board, coffee/tea making machines, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There was a clean.

The hotel was in an excellent and fantastic location really close to shops, the train station and tram, bus, and train for what we wanted it for. Greatly enjoyed the way our lovely old and unique suite in terms of decoration was arranged.

It has magnificent, unbeatable setting, short walk to local buses and train station, public transport and communal areas. There's Mercat Bar with nice shots an easy walk to the venue.

The place provides good prices, had an excellent stay for the weekend. We think it's an excellent home base for staying in Edinburgh. The employees are superfriendly and efficient. The units are huge, beautiful old than on the picture. They have an iron and ironing board, coffee/tea making equipment, and a TV.

The jewel in the crown was accommodating staff. It was in a very central location, near city centre. Had brunch in the Mercat Bar, located nearby.

Very close to a tram station, the location was marvellous and excellent, in a quiet and safe area. Café Cafe Modern Two located 1 km away was a nice surprise. The rooms were great-sized in terms of decoration, the staff were efficient. I had a TV set and a kettle in it.

Overall a cool low cost hotel. Pretty quiet area, very central location near to st marys cathedral, the public transport and the centre and lots of shops and restaurants near by. Again, walking distance to Saint Mary's Cathedral.

Loved Edinburgh, the hotel was cute and fine close to the city centre. The venue was close enough to the center of Edinburgh thanks to its quiet location. Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like The Khukuri that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

We had 5 nights in Edinburgh, spent our time here comfortably. Beds were good and shower facilities, a hairdryer and fresh towels in the bathroom. We were surprised by the garden too. It deserves its 3 stars.

Spent our time here lovely. The venue was 4-6 minutes walking distance from the bus station called west maitland street.

That sometimes the street was noisy.

we found mercat bar to dine in 400 feet from the hotel. comfortable base for your vacations in edinburgh. we greatly enjoyed the fact that we chose eliza house.

One of the dining options, Le Marche Francais was 10 mins walk away. The building was lovely. The bed was perfect, after a long drive. The convenience of getting to princes street gardens and being next to edinburgh gin distillery;))
